This meeting is about making connections and building a better community. We will start with a potluck. Please bring something to eat or drink to share.
We will discuss what we are seeing and experiencing in San Mateo County and opportunities to collaborate to move our community forward.
Although some of our neighbors are doing just fine, we probably all know people who were doing very well before the recession but who are now in very difficult financial situations. It appears that for a long while, our community is going to have to cope with less. In tough times, it is even more important for us as individuals, nonprofits, the government, small businesses, big businesses and everyone in between, to work together to improve our community.
The conversation will be continued on Thursday, September 20 and Thursday, October 18.
The gathering will be held at the Sobrato Center for Nonprofits – Redwood Shores, in the café / patio area located at 350 Twin Dolphin Drive, Redwood City, 94065.
Let's make San Mateo County an even better place to live and work.
