Annual Community Resiliency Forum: Managing the Aftermath

  • Sobrato Center for Nonprofits 350 Twin Dolphin Dr Redwood City, CA, 94065 United States

Thrive formed the Emergency Services Task Force to fill in the gap created by the closure of Collaborating Agencies Responding to Disasters (CARD) of San Mateo County in 2006. The Task Force provided an avenue for cross-sector collaborative to exchange relevant resources and information.  In 2011, the Task Force evolved into the Thrive Community Resiliency Task Force (CRTF) with a broadened focus on organizational continuity and community engagement in additional to emergency and disaster related planning efforts.  To reflect the connections that are created through these sessions, the Task Force has been renamed the Thrive Community Resiliency Network.
