The Hometown Heroes program is presented by Alliance Credit Union, and is designed to allow fans to nominate individuals who they believe deserve to be recognized for their work in the community. Everyone from first responders to military personnel to neighborhood association volunteers to teachers can be recognized.

"We are thrilled for the opportunity to once again share the amazing stories of our community's heroes off the diamond alongside our longtime partner, Alliance Credit Union," said Juliana Paoli, San Jose Giants SVP of Communications and Chief Marketing Officer. "The San Jose Giants have continuously produced homegrown Giants, and to share the same field with Giants in our community is a memorable moment we are excited to celebrate with the entire team and fans."

"The Hometown Heroes program was built to recognize people who are dedicated to keeping our community safe, healthy and vibrant," said Brian Dorcy, President and CEO of Alliance Credit Union. "We are excited to partner with the San Jose Giants to bring this back in 2016 and encourage everyone to nominate heroes in their lives to be a part of another special season of recognition."
