Sanchez Art Center is hosting the 2024 Left Coast Annual Exhibition in Pacifica, showcasing 55 pieces from a collection of over 1000 entries by artists from Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. Concurrently, the 2023 LCA Awards Exhibition featuring the work of Tara Daly and Uma Rani Iyli will also be on display. The gallery will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 1–5 pm, except during special events.

Lineage & Legacy/Kingdom Love is organizing an evaluation for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). To participate in the 8-hour instructor-led, skill-based training in person, First Aiders will only need to complete a pre/post-evaluation and a test online. MHFA is skill-based training that helps you understand mental health and substance use challenges in people. As a first aider, you will be able to identify signs and provide initial first-aid support. The Mental Health First Aid ALGEE Action Plan will equip you with the necessary tools to support and connect people to appropriate resources and treatments.

Ultimately, Olga frees herself from the psychological hold of her captors and releases her heart from 40 years of suppressing the memories of violence perpetrated against her. She finally finds peace and in the process of healing, the love of her life, Vola.
