New IRS Rules Implemented for 403b Retirement Plans

The IRS has issued comprehensive new and final regulations for 403(b) retirement plans for all non-profit organizations. As a result, the landscape for having and participating in a 403(b) will be very different than previous years.

The deadline to have the changes implemented is January 1, 2009. Therefore, it is very important to become familiar with the changes and seek out the proper solutions. It can take up to 60-90 days to get the proper solution in place, depending on your current plan and the specific changes needed.
