Connecting Nonprofits with Tech: One Nonprofit's Success Story and Yours to Follow

  • Sobrato Center for Nonprofits (Shoreway Room) 350 Twin Dolphin Dr Redwood City, CA, 94065 United States (map)

We appreciated the candid conversations at our last two Thrive Community Forums with representatives from Google, Intuit, Box, ActOn, Media Cause, and CommitChange as they shared their perspectives on the realities of doing good with an eye on company bottom-line goals.
Now it's time to hear from you, our fearless nonprofit leaders! Do you agree that there is no magic bullet or single approach to engage corporations?
That's why we designed the August 27th forum to give you the floor.

Nora Sobolov, Executive Director of JobTrain, will kick off the afternoon with insights on how she is successfully bridging the gap between a non-STEM nonprofit and high-tech companies.

After Nora, you will have an opportunity to speak up and share your ideas, strategies and solutions in facilitated interactive small groups. You will figure out how to take everything you've heard this year to practice in your own organization.

You will:

  • Leave this Forum with at least 1 action item that you can employ the very next day.
  • Hear an inspiring and brilliant Executive Director and her organization success story on engaging corporations.
  • Hear nonprofit colleagues' strategies.
  • Hear business, philanthropic, and civic leaders who share your passion in community good.
  • Be heard!
