Community Focus Group on the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority (SFBRA)
Join us for this exciting upcoming opportunity to contribute your valuable input on how the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority (SFBRA) can better direct $25 million/ year of public funding to groups representing economically disadvantaged, Tribal, and other underrepresented communities.
Nuestra Casa is partnering with Nahal Ghoghaie, founder and strategist of EcoEquity for this discussion. Nahal has been working closely with SFBRA on refining the Measure AA grant program to ensure a conscious, thoughtful effort to embed social equity into all aspects of the program and grant-making process.
Meet with community partners and discuss how Measure AA can help fund work to relieve the historical disproportionate environmental burdens on your neighborhood, while also leveling the playing field for your community to gain economic and leadership opportunities in the field of climate change preparedness and community resilience.
Please RSVP to Roxana Franco at email@example.com or feel free to email or call: (650) 330-7493 with any questions or concerns.
You can reach Nahal, who is leading the initiative directly at (360) 464-5114.
If you need financial support to attend this event, please don’t hesitate to reach out and Nahal would be happy to discuss options with you.
