Under supervision of the Director of Grants & Communications, the Grants Development Specialist will be responsible for researching, developing, writing, and coordinating funding proposals for foundations, corporations, and government agencies (city, county, state, and federal). The Grants Development Specialist also will manage a portfolio of awarded grants, including stewardship and reporting. In this role, you will work in close coordination with the marketing/communications team and the individual giving team to advance the mission of Caminar.
The Director of Development & Communications (DDC) is a member of the leadership team and reports to the Executive Director. With the support of the Executive Director, Board of Directors, Director of Operations, and Director of External Relations, the DDC establishes the strategic direction for all fundraising and marketing/communications initiatives.
