Enrollment Eligibility Manager (ERSEA) - IHSD

The Enrollment Eligibility Manager will administer, and maintain the integrity and accuracy Of ERSEA (Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility, And Attendance) Database, policies & procedures ensuring compliance with Head Start/Early Head Start performance standards, and state preschool regulations.

Example Of Duties:

  1. Implements & monitors processes & procedures as it relates to recruitment and eligibility requirements and maintaining full enrollment.

  2. Ensures data collection is accurate & inputting is consistent with head start & early head start reporting guidelines. Analyses and reports child outcomes data to reflect program & classroom demographics. Monitors attendance reports for state preschool.

  3. Responsible for marketing outreach & recruitment of families interested in the program & manage database to create a waitlist of children to be enrolled & monitor this to ensure compliance & selection process.

  4. Design & deliver training to staff, community partners & parents on database documentation, eligibility and childcare issues & topics related to ersea regulations, policies & procedures.

  5. Ensure compliance in maintaining confidentiality of records.


  1. B.A. or B.S. degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred.

  2. A minimum of 2 - 3 years experience managing a large database.

  3. Knowledge of Head Start/Early Head Start performance standards & Government funded programs.

  4. Knowledge with MS Access and experience with Child Plus preferred.

  5. At least 2 years managing and training data entry staff members.

  6. Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred

Salary range:                

Annual compensation starting at $65k
