About Science from Scientists
Science from Scientists (SfS), a non-profit specializing in STEM enrichment education, measurably improves the attitudes and aptitudes of 4th- through 8th-grade students in STEM through its during-school and outreach programs. Our core during-school program, both innovative and scalable, specifically was designed to address the factors that influence whether students have the confidence and proficiency to pursue STEM in high school and beyond. We send real, charismatic scientists into classrooms, during school, every other week for the entire school year to guide students through hands-on STEM lessons that are aligned with academic standards and chosen by teachers to enhance existing curriculum.
Science from Scientists' mission is to significantly impact the way science education is presented to students and educators, thereby improving student competency and interest so that our nation remains competitive on a global scale.
