Fuse Theatre – Board Members

Fuse Theatre is currently accepting inquiries from community members interested in joining our Board of Directors.  Fuse is a nonprofit (501c3) organization that focuses on theatre for social justice and is in the third year of programming.  Much of our work is for youth and families.  Our goal is to work with and in communities through the art of theatre-making.  We take pride in making theatre accessible for all audiences.  We are a project based company that pays all of our artists.  Our board members have a strong desire to support the powerful experiences that theatre gives the communities and the importance of making theatre.  Specifically we are interested in recruiting new members who have background in fundraising/development and/or legal advising.  

LASSMC – LIBRE Project Coordinator/Benefits Assistor

The Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County (LASSMC) seeks a dynamic and organized person who is passionate about immigrant rights to support the LIBRE program and help families and individuals to access public benefits. LIBRE (Linking Immigrants to Benefits, Resources, and Education) is a growing multi-agency collaboration that offers community outreach and education concerning eligibility for public benefits and immigration-related issues, application assistance, and legal services to access public benefits and immigration relief.

LASSMC – Project Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is dedicated to advocating for a diverse, low-income client population. The right candidate is someone who can prioritize multiple demands and execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrates excellent customer service skills, works well on a team in a collaborative environment, and is committed to social justice.

LASSMC – Health Law Attorney

The Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County (LASSMC) seeks an attorney with a passion for health equity and social justice advocacy to join our Health Consumer Center (HCC). The HCC helps resolve legal problems related to health care access for low-income people. The HCC works with state and local partners to provide outreach and education and to engage in systemic advocacy to eliminate barriers to health coverage and health care. The HCC is a partner in the Health Consumer Alliance, a statewide network of independent consumer assistance programs.
