Footsteps Child Care – School Age Teacher

Footsteps Child Care – Preschool Teacher

Peninsula Bridge – Middle School Instructor for Peninsula Bridge Monthly Independent School Program

The instructors will lead student workshops for 15-20 students. The workshops consist of a balance of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and study skills to facilitate and foster the transition into an Independent School for our 6th grade students, and continue supporting our 7th grade cohort. The cohorts meets 10 times in the academic year (September-May).  All materials and resources will be prepared and provided by Peninsula Bridge. The instructor will be responsible for reading all communications (monthly lesson plans, newsletters, etc) and be well prepared for all sessions. The instructors will lead engaging small and whole group activities in the sessions to develop key academic and social skills.

Peninsula Bridge – Student Support and Services Coordinator for the Middle School Program

The Peninsula Bridge Middle School Student Support and Services Coordinator will work  as a part of the Middle School Team to oversee an after school program site, as well as  student and family support for all Middle School Programs. They will be a key collaborator on the Middle School Team that manages the relationships between families and the Peninsula Bridge organization that identifies and addresses  compliance, needed support, and effective communication from all parties.

Peninsula Bridge – Summer Science and Computer Science (CS) Instructional Coach

The coach will collaborate with High School aged Teacher's Assistants in order to effectively plan for and teach the Computer Science and Science curriculum to students that are Rising 5th-8th grades. The teacher should be familiar with Blockly, Scratch, and other coding applications, as well as be able to train/instruct high school students in their delivery and presentation of these skills. The teacher should also be skilled at delivering lab based Science instruction. The teacher will observe and co-teach throughout the summer program at Peninsula Bridge's multiple summer sites.

Peninsula Bridge – Independent School Program Coordinator for Middle School

The Peninsula Bridge Independent School Program Coordinator  will work  as a part of the Peninsula Bridge Middle School Team to support all students and families that are applying to, or are enrolled in independent schools in the Bay Area. The candidate should be experienced with all parts of the independent school application process for Middle School students. They should also have the knowledge and skills needed to connect with and support first generation students attending independent schools. They should have the ability to identify and address the needs of our stakeholders socially, emotionally, and academically. They are the key liaison managing the relationships between Peninsula Bridge and Bay Area independent school personnel and attendees. 

Peninsula Bridge – Middle School English Language Arts/Humanities Instructors for After School Program

The English Language Arts/Humanities instructor will teach 15-20 students per session using the Peninsula Bridge English Language Arts/Humanities curriculum. All materials and resources will be prepared and provided by Peninsula Bridge. The English Language Arts Instructor will be responsible for reading all communications (lesson plans, weekly newsletters, etc) and being well prepared for all sessions. The teacher will lead engaging small and whole group instruction in the sessions to develop grade-level proficiency in English Language Arts skills and to prepare students for success in higher-level high school English courses.

Peninsula Bridge – Middle School Instructors for Peninsula Bridge Monthly 8th Grade Program

The instructors will lead student workshops for 15-20 students per session using the Peninsula Bridge 8th Grade Academy Curriculum. Peninsula Bridge – 5th Grade Instructors for After School Program

The 5th grade instructor will teach 15-20 students per session using the Peninsula Bridge curriculum. The curriculum is a combination of English Language Arts, Humanities, Math, and Science. All materials and resources will be prepared and provided by Peninsula Bridge. The 5th grade instructor will be responsible for reading all communications (lesson plans, weekly newsletters, etc) and being well prepared for all sessions. The teacher will lead engaging small and whole group instruction in the sessions to develop grade-level proficiency in English Language Arts skills and to prepare students for success in higher-level high school courses.

Upward Scholars – Program Coordinator

Upward Scholars is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Program Coordinator who is committed to our mission of empowering low-income adults by providing them the support they need to continue their education. Upward Scholars is a mission-driven organization that helps students overcome the financial and academic barriers that may limit their success. The Program Coordinator will support the Executive Director to reach Upward Scholars’ goals and accomplish our mission. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing and administering key Upward Scholars programs including the Tutor/Mentor program, the Conversation Club, the Gig Economy Training program, and the Nanny Training program.

San Mateo County Pride Center – Community Outreach Coordinator

The Community Outreach Coordinator has the exciting opportunity to design and implement an outreach plan for our historic Pride Center. They are tasked with outreach and engagement of our diverse and expansive county to bring together LGBTQ+ community, reduce stigma, and improve access to services. They will work with staff, partners, and community stakeholders to deepen the Pride Center’s collaborative efforts.

Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County, Inc. – Regional Supervisor

The person who holds this position will become or be a state certified ombudsman with supervisory responsibilities for a group of field ombudsman. The regional coordinator will work towards meeting the facility coverage plan within the area assigned to him/her, and will supervise/monitor the field ombudsmen in the performance of their duties.

Youth Community Service – Program Facilitators

The YCS program facilitator will work with middle school students in the Ravenswood City School District and/or high school students in the Sequoia Union High School District (East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City). Instruction can take place in an after-school or school-day setting. Facilitators will use both service-learning curriculum and social-emotional curriculum to build relationships of trust and respect and to develop strong leaders capable of addressing personal, school, and community needs.

Peninsula Family Service – Site Supervisor Redwood CDC

Site Supervisors are responsible for the implementation, management and administration of the Early Learning Program at their site. This includes, but is not limited to: carrying out the program philosophy; training and personnel management; classroom activities, program philosophy and curriculum; and parent education and involvement. This position is responsible for the implementation of program strategies and results that take into consideration program quality, financial sustainability by managing the site’s budget, meeting the terms and conditions of our funding sources, and having a positive impact on our services, families, children and staff.
