Silicon Valley's Can't-Miss Networking Event: Matching Nonprofits with Board Members

Last week, Thrive, in partnership with CEN and SVCN, proudly hosted the 5th annual OnBoard Match event in San Carlos to connect nonprofits with potential board members. It was an amazing evening showcasing incredible people working to make our community a better place.

This year, 30 great organizations representing the extensive San Mateo County nonprofit community (education, children, youth & family services, health, veterans, environment and sustainability, and more) exhibited at OnBoard Match at the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos. Nearly 100 board seekers from different walks of life attended the event. From the very beginning, the energy in the room was phenomenal! Early results show that a couple of board seekers have officially joined nonprofit boards just a few days following the event - we look forward to hearing more stories unfold!
