Leadership Circle Luncheon with Host Gatepath
This past Wednesday, September 12, Thrive brought together nonprofit CEOs and EDs for a conversation about serving children and families that are forced to live on the margins.
The wonderful camaraderie and active participation of everyone who attended made this meeting unique and productive. We were inspired by everyone who joined us for this important conversation and shared great ideas on how nonprofits can effectively and sustainably partner with the San Mateo County Office of Education to strengthen children and families.
Our special guest, Superintendent-Elect Nancy Magee presented the 2017 Report to the Community, shared practical guidance, and led a very frank and forward thinking conversation on how nonprofits can best facilitate school partnerships. Sara Larios Mitchell, CEO of StarVista was chairing the meeting and moderating the discussion.
