Pacific Beach Coalition: WhaleFest: Earth Day Celebration in Pacifica

The Pacific Beach Coalition is organizing an Earth Day celebration called WhaleFest at Linda Mar State Beach in Pacifica. The event will have booths lined up with engaging activities for both adults and children to learn about whales and other local nature. Environmental and community groups will be present along with inspirational speakers to celebrate Earth Day and keep watch for whale sightings just offshore.

WhaleFest is more than just an event; it is a movement towards preserving the planet's future and an opportunity to connect with nature and like-minded individuals. Prior to WhaleFest, the Pacific Beach Coalition will organize a morning of taking action from 9 - 11 AM by volunteering at cleanups and habitat restoration locations around the peninsula. The event will offer a chance for Bay Area residents to discover and celebrate our local whales, connect with nature, and participate in a movement towards preserving our planet's future.
