Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica will host a solo exhibition titled "A Special Kind of Existence" featuring the artwork of Jeff Musser, opening on Friday, February 20, 2026, with a reception from 7 to 9 pm, accompanied by live music from Blue City Jazz. The exhibition showcases Musser's paintings, drawings, and collages that delve into how history and representation shape collective memory, reflecting his early experiences with racial disparities in treatment at school. Concurrently, the East Gallery will present "What’s So Funny About Peace, Love and Understanding," an invitational exhibition aimed at fostering positivity and hope, with a community event scheduled for March 14. The closing program on March 22 will include a conversation between Musser and SAC Curatorial Director Alida Bray.
