Sustainable San Mateo County: Film Screening and Discussion: Eating for Our Health and Planet

Sustainable San Mateo County is inviting the community to an enlightening evening aimed at improving both personal and planetary health. The event will feature a screening of a condensed version of "Eating Our Way to Extinction," a film that aims to transform viewers' perceptions of food and its critical connection to the future of the planet. Following the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion featuring a local doctor, a climate scientist, and a community member who has made significant dietary changes for sustainability. Everyone who registers will receive a toolkit designed to encourage the adoption of plant-based eating within their communities. Participants are encouraged to bring their own dinner, while the organizers will provide popcorn.
