As the Food Service Worker you would be responsible for spicing up our community’s appetite by planning, preparing and serving a delicious healthy brunch on Mondays, and a healthy breakfast snack on Tuesdays through Fridays to patrons at Fair Oaks Adult Activity Center. In addition, you would serve an already prepared lunch (provided by a caterer) on Tuesdays through Fridays. Finally, you would wash minimal dishes and keep the kitchen clean on a daily basis. With assistance from the Site Director you would also be responsible for coordinating and supervising any available trainees or volunteers to help with preparation, serving and clean-up.
The Food Service Coordinator works with volunteers to serve hot breakfast and lunch to clients at the Opportunity Services Center. The Coordinator does light cooking, food pick up from partners, and manages volunteers. This position will cross train with food service operations and will assist with other food service functions as needed.
