Sage Compassion for Animals: Afternoon at the Pines

  • 33 Miller Avenue Sausalito, California, 94965 United States (map)

Sage Compassion for Animals is hosting a special event titled "Afternoon at the Pines," inviting the community to celebrate the invaluable bond between pets and their families. Since its inception in 2020, the organization has made a significant impact, assisting over 600 families with urgent veterinary care through their Healing Lives Program, which has funded $1.3 million in support. Attendees can enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres and beverages while engaging in an inspiring program that focuses on learning and connection. The afternoon will feature Dr. Samantha J.M. Evans, a distinguished veterinary researcher known for her transformative work on Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Dr. Evans will discuss how her research has turned this once-fatal disease into one filled with hope, shedding light on the future possibilities for veterinary medicine and animal health. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an auction and possibly win a memorable dinner at The Pines, supporting Bay Area pets and families in the process.
