In 2016, The San Bruno Community Foundation created the Community Grants Fund. This responsive grantmaking program allows local community groups to apply for grants of up to $25,000 to support new or existing programs that benefit the San Bruno community. The Community Grants Fund operates annually. With a $100,000 grant from YouTube and Google.org, the Foundation plans to award multiple grants totaling $300,000 at the end of 2019 for projects taking place in 2020.

Ad Grants provides access to $10,000 USD of in-kind advertising every month to create text-based ads, and get access to tools to help you build effective campaigns that can display on Google Search when people look for information related to your nonprofit.
The Atkinson Foundation provides opportunities for individuals in San Mateo County to attain their highest potential in areas of educational, social, and economic life; to assist their efforts to become independent and self-sufficient; and to generally improve the quality of their lives. The Foundation supports organizations that provide direct services to residents of San Mateo County, with primary consideration given to programs that benefit: children, youth, and families; immigrants; the elderly; those who are economically at-risk; people with mental and/or physical health conditions; those recovering from addiction; those affected by physical abuse.
The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative invites local organizations serving the communities of Belle Haven, East Palo Alto, North Fair Oaks, and Redwood City to submit applications for grant funding through the annual CZI Community Fund. The CZICommunity Fund supports organizations to address basic and urgent needs identified by local communities, including education, food security, housing, homelessness, immigration, transportation, workforce development, health care, mental health, and more.
