Using an equity lens, the Community Action Grants Program identifies and supports organizations across issue areas that foster creativity and help build the community’s power to promote an equitable, economically secure and vibrant Silicon Valley.

SVCF awards grants under the Community Action Grants program through an open Request for Proposals (RFP). Through this RFP, nonprofits may apply to multiple strategies through one application. The application is designed to recognize the important intersectional and intersectoral work of nonprofits in the region and provides organizations one entry to be considered for grants across the multiple focus areas.

Is your organization facing important strategic decisions?

Harvard Business School Community Partners is now accepting applications from 501(c)(3) organizations interested in receiving pro bono consulting support from HBS alumni.

To participate in their fall projects, the deadline to apply is August 11, 2026. Consulting projects involve helping organizations navigate strategic challenges by forming hand-picked consulting teams that work with the client over a 3-4 month period. They leverage each team’s unique intellectual capital and business talent, customizing every project to meet the client's needs. Typical topics addressed include strategic planning, scaling, business planning, marketing strategies, financial assessments, and board development. Consulting project applications must be submitted by August 11, 2026, for Fall 2026 projects.
