Grants

This page is designed to provide a clear and accessible list of funding opportunities for nonprofits in Silicon Valley. It helps connect mission-driven organizations with available grants, making it easier for them to find the resources they need to support their work and make a positive impact in the community.

  • Commute.org is launching its second cycle of the Community Partner Program and is now accepting applications from eligible San Mateo County nonprofits. The program will award up to five organizations $10,000 per year for two years, beginning July 1, 2026, to help engage underrepresented communities and increase awareness of commuter benefits and transportation services. Applications are due March 20, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. PT.

  • Using an equity lens, the Community Action Grants Program identifies and supports organizations across issue areas that foster creativity and help build the community’s power to promote an equitable, economically secure and vibrant Silicon Valley.

SVCF awards grants under the Community Action Grants program through an open Request for Proposals (RFP). Through this RFP, nonprofits may apply to multiple strategies through one application. The application is designed to recognize the important intersectional and intersectoral work of nonprofits in the region and provides organizations one entry to be considered for grants across the multiple focus areas.
