About Climate Resilient Communities:
Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) is a community-based organization dedicated to serving the Peninsula’s residents and communities of color by implementing community-led climate solutions that bring about unity, resilience, and justice in East Palo Alto, Belle Haven (Menlo Park), Redwood City, and North Fair Oaks. CRC partners with other organizations to meet community-identified needs through programs that advance youth education and leadership development, assist local residents in securing vital home repairs and subsidized solar panels, as well as other tangible projects that materially benefit residents. CRC began as a program under Acterra and spun off into a separate, fiscally-sponsored organization in 2020; in 2023, we received our 501(c)(3) designation as an independent nonprofit. At CRC, you will be part of an exciting and growing organization and have a unique opportunity to interact with and learn from experienced community leaders, while contributing to climate resilience projects that center and empower community voices.
