Footsteps is seeking a full-time Enrollment Coordinator to work Monday through Friday at its Administrative Office in Belmont, CA. This position requires regular on-site presence and is fully in person, with no remote or hybrid option available. Responsibilities
Serve as a point of contact for families wanting to enroll in CCTR, CSPP, ELOP, other alternative payments, as well as private-pay families in our childcare programs.
Assist with reviewing, tracking, updating, and prioritizing the enrollment waitlist and perform outreach to families on the waitlist.
Maintain and update family files for sites, including recertification, parent referrals, immunizations, etc.; ensure all information and documents are current and meet state eligibility and need, requirements, rules, and regulations.
Maintain databases for timely and accurate information.
Ensure all Community Care Licensing Forms (CCL) are completed before the child's start date at the center and throughout enrollment.
Work closely with Site Directors to notify them of changes, coordinate form updates, and follow up.
Partner with Site Directors on enrollment, start dates, and transitions.
Work with the Director of Finance when a new family begins to process billing enrollment.
Assist families in planning and implementing a smooth transition between program options or from program to program.
Participate in all required CCTR and CSPP subcontractor meetings and trainings by the San Mateo County Office of Education (SMCOE) or other hosting agencies.
Occasionally, subbing at one of our childcare sites as needed.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience in data entry or administrative functions
Experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and related databases (experience with Care, ProCare, NoHo, and KinderSystems is strongly preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are desired.
Experience working with diverse families
Work experience demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with community resource agencies is preferred.
Bilingual candidates preferred (proficient in speaking/reading/writing Spanish).
Compensation
$28 - $32 an hour
