Ravenswood Early Learning: ParentChild+ Home Visiting Coordinator
Ravenswood Early Learning is seeking a ParentChild+ Home Visiting Coordinator. The ParentChild+ Home Visiting Coordinator leads implementation of the ParentChild+ home visiting program within the Ravenswood community, overseeing program operations, supervising and coaching Early Learning Specialists, and ensuring families receive high-quality, model-aligned home visits. This role combines direct program management with data stewardship, family engagement, and partnership-building across the early childhood and family support system.

Ravenswood Early Learning's mission is to provide an equitable start in life for our community's youngest learners by facilitating a high-quality early childhood education spot for all children ages 0–5 living in East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park. REL is robustly engaged in simplifying families' access to high-quality and affordable ECE programs, facilitating ECE funding and facilities projects, and building providers' capacity to staff and run high-quality ECE programs. Since REL's founding, we've constructed a pioneering online early childhood navigator, expanded collaborative meetings attendance, and cultivated a community of supporters and strong community partnerships. REL is supporting early intervention work, facilitating developmental screening for Ravenswood children ages 0–5 with case management support, and is building on that foundation to expand access to high-quality early learning and family support services.
Responsibilities
Program Implementation and Operations
Completes National Center Training Institute and all required pre- and post-Training Institute online trainings
Recruits and enrolls families and monitors enrollment, retention, visit completion, and program dosage to ensure the program meets model targets
Maintains regular communication with the ParentChild+ National Center and the state director (or National Center liaison if no state director) and participates in regular site coordinator meetings and calls
In conjunction with site staff, orders, maintains, monitors, and distributes inventory of learning materials (books and toys)
Builds and maintains relationships with referral networks, including early intervention, school district staff, and other early childhood, family support, social service, and community-based organizations
Presents the program, as requested, to local community groups, school boards, and other stakeholders
Ensures implementation of program policies and procedures in accordance with REL and ParentChild+ model standards and organizational requirements
Identifies gaps in service delivery and leads continuous improvement of program design and workflows
ELS Oversight, Supervision, and Coaching
Completes DAISY (MIS) training
Recruits, interviews, and hires Early Learning Specialists
Develops and implements the training of Early Learning Specialists in accordance with ParentChild+ National Center guidance, both prior to beginning home visits and in weekly staff meetings throughout the year
Provides oversight of weekly two-hour Early Learning Specialist peer support and team meetings, ensuring meetings include structured reflection, skill development, and case consultation aligned with the model
Supervises, supports, and provides ongoing training for Early Learning Specialists through review of home visit reflection records, video recordings, weekly staff meetings, one-on-one meetings, and observation of home visits
Conducts observation of Early Learning Specialist practice at least twice annually and facilitates goal setting and individualized coaching based on observed practice to support fidelity and professional growth
In conjunction with Early Learning Specialists, selects appropriate early childhood learning materials in accordance with ParentChild+ standards and guidance and prepares guide sheets as needed
Family Engagement and Support
Works closely with school district personnel who could provide supportive services to participating families, including school social workers, special education evaluators, and adult education staff
Works closely with community agency personnel who could provide supportive services to participating families, including housing, immigration, employment, food assistance, health, and mental health providers
Assists participating families, at their request, in accessing education, employment, health care, housing, immigration, and community resources
Assists participating families, at their request, in interpreting evaluations and actions that have resulted from a ParentChild+ referral, and advocates for children and families to ensure they receive appropriate services
Conducts or facilitates all assessments of participating children, reviews of information with families, and prepares and maintains records, reports, and assessment data on participating children
Data Collection and Evaluation of Program
Ensures that all program data on personnel and families is entered into DAISY in a timely manner
Reviews program reports at least quarterly to monitor data completeness, accuracy, and quality
Collects, maintains, and securely preserves program data through DAISY, the ParentChild+ web-based management information system, and submits required reports to funders, state and local government, school districts, and other authorized partners
Participates in research activities conducted by the local partner agency and/or the ParentChild+ National Center, including supporting data collection, documentation, and required reporting processes
Participates in National Center fidelity and quality assurance review processes, including periodic program reviews, and implements improvement plans to ensure the program meets model standards and target outcomes
Uses data and evaluation findings to inform continuous quality improvement planning, including identifying implementation strengths, improvement priorities, and programmatic adjustments aligned with model expectations
Utilizes REL's Salesforce cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform collaboratively
Budget, Funding, & Reporting
Tracks program data and outcomes; supports reporting to REL leadership, the board, and funders
Partners with the Executive Director on program budget, grant deliverables, and strategic planning for program growth
Qualifications
Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with school districts, healthcare providers, and community partners.
Lived experience or deep familiarity with the Ravenswood community
Experience in early childhood education, social work, child development, early intervention, family support programs, developmental screening, or case management with young children (ages 0–5), or a related field
Innovative, hard-working, with a can-do attitude
A willingness to build and shape a new initiative from the ground up
Commitment to equity-centered, community-responsive early childhood work
Preferred:
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage data systems, reporting, and program compliance requirements
Experience coordinating services across multiple providers, families, and/or systems
Bachelor's or Master's degree in early childhood education, social work, or a related field
Prior experience with the ParentChild+ program model or a comparable evidence-based home visiting model
Experience supervising, coaching, or training staff
Experience with grant reporting, funder relationships, or program evaluation
Compensation
Salary range for this position is $61,000–$72,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include health coverage and annual paid time off in addition to holidays and scheduled vacation periods.
