Ravenswood Early Learning: Early Intervention Manager
Ravenswood Early Learning is seeking an Early Intervention Manager. The Early Intervention Manager will lead REL's developmental screening and early intervention program, ensuring young children in the Ravenswood community receive developmental assessments, that developmental delays are identified early, and that families are connected to the services and support they need. This role combines direct program oversight with cross-system coordination, including working closely with families, school district partners, and health and community providers, to build and strengthen a program still taking shape within a growing organization.

Ravenswood Early Learning's mission is to provide an equitable start in life for our community's youngest learners by facilitating a high-quality early childhood education spot for all children ages 0–5 living in East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park. REL is robustly engaged in simplifying families' access to high-quality and affordable ECE programs, facilitating ECE funding and facilities projects, and building providers' capacity to staff and run high-quality ECE programs. Since REL's founding, we've constructed a pioneering online early childhood navigator, expanded collaborative meetings attendance, and cultivated a community of supporters and strong community partnerships. REL is supporting early intervention work, facilitating developmental screening for Ravenswood children ages 0–5 with case management support, and is building on that foundation to expand access to high-quality early learning and family support services.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of REL's developmental screening and early intervention program for children ages 0–5 • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate initiative activities, meetings, and community events
Represent REL at public meetings, collaborative groups, and outreach events, as well as in community and interagency meetings related to early intervention and developmental services • Conduct outreach and engage families to increase participation in developmental screenings and early intervention services, including facilitating screenings and managing relationships with other screening providers
Provide individualized navigation and care coordination to help families access developmental screenings, evaluations, referrals, and community resources
Build and maintain strong relationships with early childhood education providers, healthcare partners, school district, and community-based organizations
Manage and support early intervention case management, supporting families to receive more timely, coordinated follow-up after screening
Build and maintain referral and partnership relationships with developmental support organizations including Ravenswood City School District, Golden Gate Regional Center, pediatric providers, early intervention specialists, and community-based organizations
Track program data and outcomes; support reporting to REL leadership, the board, and funders
Monitor screening and intervention practices for alignment with early intervention frameworks and best practices (e.g., IDEA Part C), and advocate for children and families to ensure they receive appropriate services
Identify gaps in service delivery and lead continuous improvement of program design and workflows
Partner with the Executive Director on program budget, grant deliverables, and strategic planning for program growth
Utilize REL's Salesforce cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform collaboratively
Qualifications
Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with school districts, healthcare providers, and community partners.
Lived experience or deep familiarity with the Ravenswood community
Minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood education, social work, child development, early intervention, developmental screening, or case management with young children (ages 0–5), or in a related field
Innovative, hard-working, with a can-do attitude
A willingness to build and shape a new initiative from the ground up
Experience coordinating services across multiple providers, families, and/or systems
Commitment to equity-centered, community-responsive early childhood work
Preferred:
Working knowledge of early intervention systems and frameworks (e.g., IDEA Part C, developmental screening tools such as ASQ)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in early childhood education, social work, child development, or a related field
5+ years of experience in early intervention or developmental services, including experience supervising staff or coordinating a caseload-based team
Experience managing or scaling a program, not just operating an existing one • Experience supporting grant reporting, funder relationships, or program evaluation
Compensation
Salary range for this position is $79,000–$93,600, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include health coverage and annual paid time off in addition to holidays and scheduled vacation periods. Details are available by request.
